The fifth training session to train staff of partner organizations was successfully held from July 15-17, 2024 in Athens, Greece. The MIGreenDEAL project staff was hosted by the NGO IASIS at its headquarters in Athens and the training sessions were delivered in hybrid format.

This is an important milestone that ensures optimal preparation for the subsequent pilot and test activities. The event included workshops on key concepts, environmental awareness, sustainable living and the impact of environmental challenges on immigrants. META4 (Austria) led the workshop on key concepts, DISRUPTIA (Spain) on environmental awareness and La Bien Pagá (Spain) on environmental challenges. Le Monde des Possibles (Belgium) dealt with green jobs and entrepreneurship, while IASIS (Greece) presented advocacy and civic engagement. InnoQuality Systems (Ireland) led the session on personal reflection and action planning.

On the third day, DISRUPTIA presented the functionalities of the MiGreenDEAL e-learning platform, IASIS presented the progress of the toolkit, and InnoQuality Systems discussed the roadmap and work plan of the pilot project. The training emphasized the correct use of the tools to ensure the success of the project and included time for reflection, evaluation and social interactions between partners.
